It’s that time of year again, time to cook a gigantic turkey, slather it with gravy and cranberry sauce, and dive in to green bean casserole! Green bean casserole has always been a staple at my house – from when I was young ’til now, I can’t imagine a holiday without this delicious side dish. In fact, we don’t just have it on holidays – we have it throughout the year! BUT, your typical green bean casserole has dairy, and when you or your kids have a dairy allergy you don’t want to miss out. Luckily, I now have a wonderful VEGAN green bean casserole recipe. Sauteed Green Beans Recipe

I love fresh green beans. Really, I love green beans in general, but when they’re fresh they’re even better. I like this sauteed green bean recipe because it’s so simple and allows the beans to speak for themselves. I add just a little garlic, but if you like more then go nuts! I also like the green beans cooked two different ways: 1) I like them cooked, but still crisp; 2) I like to cook them way down until they are wilted. Either way is delicious and really comes down to persona preference. Regardless of you cook them, they’re sure to be delish because, well, they’re green beans!
