Beef Italiano
Ingredients
- 3-1/2 lbs. boneless chuck roast
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. oregano, crushed
Instructions
- Trim fat from meat; place in shallow 12x8x2-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Spoon off fat.
- Combine remaining ingredients and generous dash of pepper; pour over meat. Cover.
- Bake for 2 hours, or until tender.
- Spoon off fat.
- Thicken sauce, if desired.
